In early 2010 the Academic Programs and Administrative Services Review Core Council, comprised of faculty, staff, and administrators from University Park and the Commonwealth Campuses, was charged by the President to identify new ways to maintain a quality education while becoming a more efficient and effective institution. Three subcommittees, the University Park and the Campus Academic Review Coordinating Committees, and the Academic and Administrative Services Review Coordinating Committee, reviewed academic programs and administrative functions. Their goal was to find both long-term savings and short-term budgetary cuts, while maintaining quality. Their work is completed.
