ASQ Higher Education Brief on Cost Savings in Higher Education
The April 2010 issue of the ASQ (American Society for Quality) Higher Education Brief features 10 articles on current cost savings approaches in higher education, including 10 questions to ask about a nonprofit business approach from Scott Martens at the University of Minnesota and an overview of Penn State’s integration of planning and improvement. The Office of Planning and Institutional Assessment supports the University’s efforts to plan, assess, and improve programs and services. The Office is available, at no charge, to consult with units and use organizational change tools to help units assess their needs, develop strategic plans, improve key processes, and develop collaborative team environments.
