This session will focus on several programs supported by Penn State’s Office of Research Information Systems. Penn State’s myResearch Portal (previously called the “PI Portal”) was developed by ORIS and provides principal investigators with real-time, web-based access to administrative data associated with their sponsored research. The UMETRICS project is supported by ORIS for the Vice President of Research and provides financial data on Penn State’s federally funded research to the national UMETRICS program. The complementary Innovation Indicators Development project utilizes UMETRICS data, along with matched Census and other external data, to show impacts of Penn State research on the local, state, and national economy.
