To address and manage a staff reduction in our student services office, with our ultimate objective being to improve the physical space of our office while increasing efficiencies in our unit’s processes related to undergraduate student records.

The physical renovation of our office is now complete. By discarding outdated files and cabinets, we made room for additional conference space to meet with current and prospective students and families. Our renovations have also improved the flow of students, staff and faculty through our office area. By reviewing the various duties of our staff, we identified a number of specific processes and tasks that we could either eliminate or streamline, and proceeded to do so. We are now operating in a much more efficient and attractive space while managing our workload effectively with fewer staff.
