To study the incidence, circumstances and potential contributing conditions of recent accidents and make a plan of corrective actions. Minor accidents at low speed are a source of cost and inconvenience to the EMS dept.

New training methodologies are being investigated to enhance communication between drivers and spotters, and requiring better positioning of spotters. Safety will be re-emphasized. Driver training will be re-focused on communication with spotters, and more emphasis will be placed on low-speed maneuvering. In addition, brightly-colored sleeves have been acquired for the poles outside the garage bays. Striping is being considered for the lot outside the garage bays to help drivers with backing.
