To monitor cleanliness in our health care facility at all times in order to find areas in which facilities staff may need to improve processes. A staff survey was conducted to help measure knowledge of and satisfaction with building cleanliness. Periodic monitoring with a survey of staff’s perceptions of cleanliness is used to find areas for improvement.

126 surveys were distributed; 82 were returned. 73% of participating staff rated cleanliness in all areas as satisfactory or higher. The facilities departmentt plans to continue its efforts to increase the satisfactory and higher ratings for next year.
