Desired Results:

This team's primary objective was to improve customer satisfaction with the e-Commerce services. AIS is the centralized processor for e-Commerce activity at Penn State. As such, all e-Commerce systems at the University are processed using this system. The team made a number of improvements to the "backend." Their measurements of change included increasing the capacity for additional credit card brands (from 2 brands to 4 brands) and also ensuring the scalability of the overall system. Although they do not have any documentation for their improvements, they do feel that there has been some improvement in the system. They plan to continue their improvements in the future with the addition of electronic check capabilities.
