Speaker: James B. Thomas, Dean, Smeal College of Business
In 1999, Jim Thomas became the founding dean of Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology. Since 2006, he has served as dean of the University’s Smeal College of Business. His academic work has been in organizational decision-making and strategic management, and he maintains active scholarship in those areas. Drawing on the lessons of both research and personal experience, Dean Thomas will discuss his ideas about leadership and organizational performance in higher education.
